Just recently I met Fifi, oh boy, it’s been almost a month since I last met her. Now that her exams are over, we plan to party till our boobs sag, Ah Geok you can join us if you want, wait, I know you want (the inside flip joke). As usual, what’s a meet up without a cup of coffee, planted our sexy bums at Starbucks and chatted the night away. From ‘in-laws’, to hookers in flats to weddings to also other intellectual conversation topics. Shima, if only you were there.
Oh work is pretty much the same, economic downturn, so business can be rather slow on some days. Other than that, I’m still handling projects related to birthday parties and corporate events. I think that’s the best about being in this job; kiddy stuff is always fun. Talking abour parties, Iwasthisclosetolosingmypatience to the kids yesterday, chaos baby, chaos. Holding a managerial position is not easy, I mean especially when my colleagues are close to the same age as me. Other than that, office politics are normal, but thankfully it’s not going on at my store. Hearing other people telling stories’ enough. And I’m gonna be expecting a non-local staff anytime soon, this time around she’s PRC. Apparently she’s been at another outlet for 6 months already, yadayadayadayada, she’s transferred to my outlet. We’re such sai-kang warriors.
What else? Boy’s pretty much done with the first few grueling months of national slavery. :)
Camille just emailed me from Japan! Ahhhh, she told me she couldn’t find Jagabee there, isn’t that snack from Japan? Correct me if I’m wrong man. And I wonder how Lifa’s doing in sunny Florida. There’s Nadia too downunder. Sporty’s back from Korean, soon enough Seri-o heading to Korea too. Perhaps, it’s time for me to get away man.
I miss food talk. Anyways ever since Camille introduced me to the ice-slice thingy, I’ve been getting fat devouring it. Especially Slice of Life at Far East.
Rollerblades in July(crosses fingers), then just maybe I can cut all these weight.
