Everyone’s slowly being hit by the recession. Sales at the store have been pretty bad lately, and this time around I’m glad I’ve been given much more responsibility, this time around, it’s not just about making a wow experience for every guest who walks in, this time around it’s not just about the sales floor. The management has given us much more empowerment, and this just makes it much more interesting. I’m looking forward to take advantage of the platform given to me, I’ll the make the best out of it, and who knows, the returns will be much more than what I expected. This is what I wanna do, I’m getting to it little by little.
Even with the recession, my spending habits are still the same, there are too many things to spend on this month, birthdays, valentine’s day, and not forgetting food. Friday was supper at Al-Azhar after Settler’s Cafe, Saturday was Subway; it could’ve been Popeyes, Sunday was tai-tai breakfast with Camille at Vivo; of all places, and just yesterday Ayam Penyet topped with Azabu Sabo ice cream for dessert. And with more celebrations coming up, I can smell other good eats already.
I think my new Diesel shoes will match with a Desigual top, anyone?
This might be uninteresting to some people, but I’m gonna talk about books a bit. I bought too many books, and my reading pace is not catching up as fast. For now, I’m gonna continue with Paolo’s Witch of Portebello; which I chucked it aside once I got a hold o f New Moon. And there’s Paolo’s new book too; in fact is not new, is just that I don’t see it in the common shelves of many bookstores, it’s called Brida. In fact this year, he published 2 other books too, I’ve been looking for it but to no avail. You must be wondering why I love his books so much, well basically it makes me thinks about the things I wouldn’t thought of thinking about, what the hell, but really. I know it sounds very vague, but you should try reading his books before you can understand me.
That’s about now, life’s pretty normal. :)
