  • How Considerate Are Singaporeans
    Wednesday, February 8 / 09:45
    Oh no
The fever symptoms are killing me
    My ever leaking nose
    My soar-ing throat
    Urgh
    At home now
Will only be going for e make up tutorial

It happened 2 days in a row
    First
In e train on my way home
A lady was carrying a child
And nobody offered her a seat
Yest morng on my way to sch
    Everybody rushed into e LRT
    Before everyone could get off

    Very common huh?
    Yeaps
    Darn it explains all
    How considerate Singaporeans are

But hey remember we were all taught
To give the seat to someone
Who needs it more than us?
    If I'm not wrong
I've heard 2 DJs discussing this issue
    On radio
    Think its Glenn and Rod
    It was something like this
"Oh ya, give up e seat?
But hey after a day's of hard work
We deserve a seat too right?
    My knees are jelly-like
    And I could fall anytime
With my heavy bag on me
And like what if we're feeling sick
We deserve a seat too right?
    So why should 'they' be
    More deserving?"

    Hmm think about it
    Oh well
Diff people have their own say
    U may or may not
    Agree with those two

    And not only this
    There are other incidents
That'll make u think twice abt
    Singaporeans
Like 'chopping' of seats - KIASU?
Pressing lift/traffic buttons a dozen times
    Talking loudly on e phone
Spreading their arms widely when reading
Not moving into e rear of train/bus
Chatting at e entrance of a mall
    Not saying thank you
Covering their nose when Indians are around
Puting their bulky bags on e seats
Not switching their hp to silent at library or cinema
    Blablabla...

    Oh
    Hate to admit it
    But sometimes we accidentally
    Become one of 'those' people
    My apologies
    People do make mistakes
